Welcome to Simon Says Movie Reviews!

Hello everyone, and thanks again for visiting. Where is this year going?! Time flies when you're watching movies I suppose. I now have 15 movies up with about 10 reviews.

I have a 2009 list with over 150 films, which you can see a bit lower on the home page. I have posted a new article with mt top 10 underrated horror films of the past 10 years, so check that out.

The archives are still coming slowly but surely and I am finally happy to announce the 'movies by year' archive is fully completed.

And finially my top 100 list is now completed! You can see it to the side.

Cheers,

Simple Simon

Simon seen your review of Splinter on imbd, which made me check out your movie review site. Then I seen your dvd review of Quantum of Solace, which left me very disappointed. Quantum of Solace was shit! Totally overated, Daniel Craig great actor, but no James Bond. The bourne trilogy, Shoot em up, Taken, all far superior action movies to the totally pretensious Bond offerings.

Hey Will thanks for the comment. As I stated this is far from my favorite Bond movie but I still fail to see where the hate comes from so I still must agree to disagree. The argument that this is `not Bond` just seems odd to me as the true essence of the Bond series is that the constantly shifting directors and leads can continue to morph the character, the setting and the feel. I would argue that is QofS dose not feel like Bond then neither would say Live and Let Die which goes the other direction; full on camp. I embrace and encourage the evolution of the Bond character because it is that detail that makes the saga so endearing.
